Hi I’m Aimee; Gill’s new apprentice. There’s nothing more awkward than talking about myself, but here goes. Just forgive me if I ramble on a little; I’m fairly new to this line of work so I’m very lucky to be learning from Gill.
I’m not new to social media. Whose life doesn’t revolve around social media these days! Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, the 21St century’s morning paper and it’s interesting to see how many businesses benefit from ‘tweeting’.
I’m looking forward to starting the social media course, building my own client base, getting stuck in and starting a career that I’m already beginning to love. Oh and the office move! Hopefully by December we will be in the new office.
I have already had the pleasure of tagging along to a network meeting, where I met some great businesswomen and the food was AWESOME!
I’m a single mum that has been given a chance and I couldn’t be more grateful. Coming home after work feeling fulfilled and proud that I have been out there earning a living for myself and showing my little girl that it can be done.
Let me think of an interesting thing about me that I could tell you. Oh, I have a twin, an identical twin. Is that interesting? I think it’s pretty cool, it’s kind of like a party trick having someone look identical to you and of course having a permanent best friend is a bonus. My idea of fun is spending every minute I can with my little girl (well, the odd visit to Costa coffee doesn’t go amiss). When time allows, I love to read or watch a good TV series although the social media course may take over.
