Life at GEM is fantastic. I’ve been here 7 months now and WOW it’s gone quick. As the saying goes; “time flies when you’re having fun”. It’s full speed ahead here, and that’s the way I like it.
It’s so important, but also rare, to find a career that you love but I’ve succeeded. Gone are the days of dreading a Monday morning.
There is so much to look forward to at the minute; GEM is expanding by the day and what a pleasure it is to be a part of that.
I learn something new almost every day. Life as a Virtual PA is amazing.
For now passing my driving test is top of my to-do list. Hopefully this will tie into the end of my apprenticeship at the end of September, and then I will be out networking building my own client base and building a career and a future.
I am still a Costa addict, that hasn’t changed. In fact my caffeine addiction has probably escalated (blame Gill). However, that will soon have to stop and be replaced with a ridiculous amount of water as I am training for Tough Mudder in September (blame Gill).
I say ‘training’, I haven’t started yet, but I will… I think I need a personal trainer or a drill sergeant… someone to push me… Motivation is key here.
I am loving the Social Media course that I am doing with Aspire. Gill keeps me outrageously busy so finding time for course work can be tough.
I’ve learnt what success looks like.  “Dedication, hard work, and an unwavering love of what I’m doing”.
Life is really good.
Love
Aimee
